Volunteer Role: General Support – Operation Return To Base Walk/Run/Ruck Event

‍🧭 Purpose
‍To assist with a variety of logistical, setup, and event-support tasks to ensure the event runs smoothly.
General Support Volunteers are vital to the behind-the-scenes execution and overall participant experience.
‍
📋 Tasks & Responsibilities
-Assist with event setup and takedown (tables, tents, signage, etc.)
-Help manage check-in or registration areas
-Provide directions or answer basic participant questions
-Fill in for other volunteer roles as needed
-Support cleanup and post-event breakdown

⏰ Time Commitment
Event Day: October 4, 2025
Time: 0745 - 0545
Shift: Throughout the day with alternating active and rest periods (approximately 1–3 hours working, followed by 1–3 hours resting)

📍 Location
-Event staging area, vendor space, rest points, or flexible support assignments
-Volunteers must report to the check-in area by 0750

-Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
-Willingness to jump in wherever help is needed
-Good communication and teamwork skills
-Comfortable with lifting items
-Comfortable standing or walking outdoors for several hours
