Operation Return To Base

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit currently serving current and former US Military Service Members and First Responders via online resources, financial assistance, and community events currently being scheduled in the Naples, FL area

Oasis Diaz is our founder and is a current US Army service member with over 10 years of service and 2 overseas deployments. Seeing homeless veterans in downtown Tampa, hearing countless stories about fellow service members struggling, and being turned away from his own attempt at addressing a health concern already documented with the military, pushed Oasis to help others facing similar challenges and more.

"I came to learn about the isolation, financial hardships, substance abuse, lack of purpose, and depression that US Service Members, both actively serving and out as veterans, experience all too often. On top of that, after talking with friends with law enforcement and fire service careers, I saw a need to help support first responders experienceing similar issues too. These men and women sacrifice everything for the sake of others and they should be getting the best care they can get. I decided to create Operation Return To Base to create a real community, provide support, and locate resources so they can have any and all needs taken care of.

We are going to figure it out and help them anyway we can, and you know what? I would love to create a campus where we could provide them with a private space to stay if they fall on hard times, with access to a gym, health services, career assistance, opportunities to find purpose, a real community to lean on and more! That is our long-term goal. Lets take care of those who have selflessly served our communities and give them the support they deserve.

We will make a difference, that is certain."
