Volunteer Role: Operation Return To Base Walk/Run/Ruck Event

‍🧭 Purpose
‍To assist with a variety of logistical, setup, and event-support tasks to ensure the event runs smoothly.
‍
📋 Tasks & Responsibilities
-Direct participants at designated parking spots, checkpoints, or turns-Assist with setup or takedown of cones and signage in assigned areas
-Help manage check-in or registration areas
-Support cleanup and post-event breakdown
-Report incidents, medical concerns, or suspicious activity to event staff or emergency services immediately

⏰ Time Commitment
Event Day: October 4, 2025
Time: 8:15am - 5:00pm
Shift: Throughout the day with alternating active and rest periods (approximately 1–3 hours working, followed by 1–3 hours resting)

📍 Location
-Event staging area, vendor space, rest points, or flexible support assignments
-Volunteers must report to the check-in area by 08:15am

-Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
-Willingness to jump in wherever help is needed
-Good communication and teamwork skills
-Comfortable with lifting items
-Comfortable standing or walking outdoors for several hours
